Another Shorty

This week has been a blur. We're back at the farm this morning, and in a few minutes I start an expert witness deposition, one of the most challenging things we do as trial lawyers. I've been at this so long I could probably handle this one in my sleep, but I still get a little sweaty palmed as the task approaches.

But it's nice to be in a spot where the view out my office window includes Bobo in the middle pasture, grazing behind a tree. You can sort of see him out there.

As soon as the deposition ends, P and I will fly back to NY to race ahead of some delta sierra weather that's forecast for tomorrow. It'd be nice to hang around here, talk to the livestock, and play a little golf, but I hate flying in thunderstorms, and that's what arrives in the Southern Tier overnight.

And so it goes.
