"One never reaches home, but wherever friendly paths intersect the whole world looks like home for a time."

Why was there no post this morning?

Oh yeah--I was flying back from Perry to KELM. An early departure gives the best chance of avoiding thunderstorms in late June, so early it was.

A lovely flight at 15,000 feet up the east coast. Here are a couple shots from the trip.

No clue why the shot out the window was so blurry.

Last night before I left the farm, a friend texted that she hoped I'd have a "safe flight home". I responded that I didn't have the slightest idea what's "home" anymore. Maybe wherever Peggy happens to be.

The Mighty Columbia goes to Binghamton tomorrow for its annual inspection. From there we'll go to the lake via Ithaca to binge at our favorite Korean restaurant on the planet.

But for now, I have a mountain of work to do between today and Monday morning, and Peg's stuck working late with a crani. Such is our life these days.
