Going to the city, got you on my mind,

Country sure is pretty, I'll leave it all behind,

This is my decision, I'm coming home to stay this time

'Cause I'm a fool for the city, I'm a fool for the city,

Fool for the city, I'm a fool for the city

-Foghat

An apt name for the group offering this morning's quoted sentiment.

Sixty-five and foggy, but the fog is lifting which is good because we're about to jump in the Caddy and drive to Manhattan for the weekend. Dio's been down there all week staging 7C, and this afternoon is the reveal. Peg's so excited that, when I woke up this morning, she was staring back at me waiting for me to wake up so we could hit the road. This is quite unlike her, on a morning when she doesn't need to wake up for work.

So time to take that last swig of champagne she had me uncork for the occasion, and start driving southeast toward Oz.
