Having trouble focusing on a big writing project with our vacation only a few days away.
Have I mentioned this already? We leave the U.S. for London on Friday night late, spend a day there, then head to Athens for a couple days with Greece's finest tour guide, Issac, before boarding a Windstar cruise ship for a trip around the Aegean for just over a week.

So instead of worrying about caulk and deposition dates, I'm distracted with packing lists, getting the last couple assignments from my tax classes in the can, and boning up on my Greek and Aegean history (to the extent they're not the same thing) so I don't sound like an ignorant yutz while Issac is taking around Athens and environs.
Plus, our new car arrives tomorrow. Pretty excited about that.
And we finally have someone in Perry who wants to lean into making Wyldswood Farms a viable event venue. The place may be on the cusp of really coming back to life, and providing a source of mailbox money in our senescence.
Yep, things are looking up. Beats thinking about the election.
